I went camping this weekend at a nearby state forest and caught a nice photo from the late afternoon sun. A few minutes later the sun had set behind the trees across the lake. Overall I'm quite pleased with how this turned out, considering the fact that only 30 minutes earlier my camera took a nosedive into the camp fire.

Part of my zoom lens casing melted and I think I have some slight sensor damage from the heat. Other than that the camera functions normally.

Not a bad photo all things considered.

I like it. If you move the tree stumps out of sight, the photo looks like a staircase.
