SLI-selector, OMG manufacturers are really going retro! First the double-fan green PCB-monster and now this. Strange times we live, strange times..

with the exception of the ECS 650i which is hardwired at x8+x8 all 650i SLIs have a selector card - I guess it's nVidia trying to differentiate the cheaper 650i from the dearer 680i.

Anyway, another good review from Bit-tech.
Which BIOS did you use because there are certainly a few 500fsb on air reports on the forums using the latest?

1.1 on 13th Feb. I know our X6800 is better than our other CPUs, but I tried the E6300 and that did just as well. I honestly really couldn't work out what was wrong and I know I had not missed something. I tried really overvolting it, spectrum spread on/off and going over the limit to see if it was a FSB-hole. Nothing worked, so maybe it was our board and some batches do better than others, which is the way of the world unfortunately.

Obviously. Once more we see that sufficiently advanced physics is indistinguishable from getting really stoned. From here
