Ah, if only. Loved the idea of Google Paper, but that would be way too good to be true.

Speaking of gmail though, anyone else having problems with gmail pop access recently? I haven't been able to get to mine for about four days, and only realized it two days ago (thought it was strange that I hadn't received anything in 48 hours...)

mine works fine, though I had an error in the past where a server went down and reset the POP access settings.

Interesting enough the idea of fiber through the sewer isn't such a farfetched idea. It was done in the early 2000's by a startup here which used the sewers and robots to bring fiber to cities.

I only skim read this article and thought it was for real, until i followed the link through to the google page and saw the cable sticking out the toilet. Before I read it I did see the router and think ah-ha netgear partnership.

How can Google offer this service for free?
We believe that all users deserve free, fast and sanitary online access. To offset the cost of providing the TiSP service, we use information gathered by discreet DNA sequencing of your personal bodily output to display online ads that are contextually relevant to your culinary preferences, current health status and likelihood of developing particular medical conditions going forward. Google also offers premium levels of service for a monthly fee (see below).
Just wait until you surf the net and you get diarrhea medicine ads everywhere, and your friend is next to you
