    Hello!

I have in my possession the [oops]MacroBlack[/oops] "Culance" modded Koolance case that Macroman originally made for the OCS commission before they went under.

    Its pretty beat up :(

I want to restore it and add some of my own twists, but the original article is not in the modding archive so I can't show anyone what it used to be in its glory days :(

Is it possible for you guys to import it over from the old website if its still there so I can do a "now and then" on it? Pretty please?

Even if you guys have the text and / or pictures I'll sort out the rest if you don't want it on the site?

Also, assuming Kna and MrHaz are still out there, say hi for me if they remember me from the old tekforums days :p

    Ola :D

I've been here reading for a veerrrrrrry long time, and occasionally posting one or two, but only in Project Logs.

I like all the pretty pictures :D

It almost made me cry :( Its covered in dust, has a smattering of budgie poo (no joke), some rust on the corners, and all the koolance stuff is plain gone. None of the drive bay covers / 5.25" drive mounting rails survive, so I'm gonna have to source some of them. It didn't even have one of the side panels when I was first offered it but luckily it turned up.

I'll share the full story if the BiT guys manage to resurrect the original project log on the website and then share with you all some of my ambitions :D

I remember it being for sale with a load of ex-OCS cases on here ages ago... shame a work like that got trashed.

Would be nice to see it revamped :)

He was going to simply bin it when he moved house :|

What a project log this is going to make.....

(You could even work in a religious theme - macroman gave his son, who was then sacrificed, but is now being resurrected...... I know - horribly sacrilegious... but funny...)

Well I hope it will at least. I'm sure there are people who won't like what I plan to do with this.

I might consider giving it back to bit-tech even, if macroman wanted to fix her up himself or something. Postage and a couple of review "throwaways" plz! :D Well having said that, modding is fun and I'm not sure even then if I'd wanna give up the chance :D

The word "resurrection" may take part but not in a biblical sense, I don't go in for all that Dogma. (Disclaimer: its fine if you lot wanna go in for it, its just not my bag baby!)

Hi! I've always been here Bindi :dremel:

Wow, I'm amazed that it's still floating about, I'd love to know the full story behind what happened with it after the mod was finished :D

::edit:: Zoon, the article you are looking for would be http://www.bit-tech.net/modding/2005/09/01/macro_black/1.html I believe?
IIRC it's been on the site for ages, I seem to remember going and reading it again a couple of months back.
Heck, it was one of the mods that first inspired me to start modifying my PC for performance/looks a while back, though I never really did get very far due to lack of funds/being a lazy git.

    ::edit 2::

Just reading through the comments on the article and it includes such comedy classics as

Only thing is I don't remember Macro Black being a Koolance case? And I'm sure the article said it was a ClearPC one. Maybe I'm thinking of and have posted the wrong link/case?
