 With the success of the wii I think its fairly certain that major players will start developing for it, its just a question of how long till the games actually start filtering through to the players.

Soul Calibur on Dreamcast was so sweet. I remember spending hours on Campaign Mode in the car, when we used to travel 8 hours to go visit my grandparents. Being 15 years old, it never got old, so I think the Wii would be a good installment for the game especially with the sweet controls.

As long as it doesn't displace a real sequel to the fighting game I don't care if it even comes out. I like SC because its an awesome fighting game, and I really don't want it to end up something like marvel ultimate alliance.

Nintendo need to sort out online play, the infrastructure is there, but untill the let 3rd parties develop for it it won't work.
Unfortunately, the whole "Seal Of Quality" thing isn't needed anymore, now we have optical media which is cheaper it means publishers can plow more money into development. |
