Uwe Boll eBays roles in Far Cry

http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2007/05...s_in_far_cry/1

Are you surprised that nobody wants to work with Uwe Boll? Neither are we, but we are surprised that he thinks people will pay to work with him.

I wouldn't say Postal 2 was sub-par. Alright it had a few flaws, but it was still a great game.

Honestly I do, alright the plot was a bit shabby, but I don't think it was as bad as you guys make out. It wasn't up to beating the original, but what game is?

Lego Star Wars orginal saga beats the original Lego Star Wars. The plot was almost non-existent in Postal 2 though - limited to "Get Milk. Go to VD Clinic.". I actually enjoyed the game when I last played it, but I don't think that makes it a good game at all. It's far too easy and compensates for lack of balance and originality with deliberate, crude controvery. The gameplay quickly got old anyway and though there were some inventive things to do, like training dogs, they weren't well implemented into the game world. When there are such far better games out there which do similar things, like GTA, theres little more reason to play Postal 2 other than to scare my GF by putting a cat on the end of my machine gun, IMO.

Haha the bidding ended without a bid, so they droped the price with 500€
One of the actors is Till Schweiger which some of you maybe know as the baldheaded viking from King Arthur. Back in the days he was kinda funny but now he tries to be a bad guy and its just not working out.

A few spring to mind:
Jaws 2
Episode 1 *spits*
The Matrix - Reloaded and Revolution
Conan The Destroyer
Speed 2 (Although the first one was pretty crap)
MI:2 & 3
Blues Brothers 2000

C&C: Generals
UT2003
Splinter Cell: DA
Vietcong 2

That's just to name a few...

Alone in the dark - sub par? My goodness your standards are high.

Other than that you're right. I would'nt trust Uwe Boll to do the video for a wedding never mind a motion picture.

btw.. the "let us know in the forums" link from the article doesn't seem to go to this thread....

on topic - ya know, i'd think maybe some aspiring young actor will maybe fall for this as they see it as their 'shot at the silver screen' ...time will tell ...has any director ever done this before with ebay!?

I can picture some rich gamer bidding on it in the hope of catching Boll alone with a baseball bat
