No modern transformer toy will ever be as cool or as high quality as the originals. I still have my Gen 1 Optimus Prime and Megatron. Sometimes I fall asleep with them cradled in my arms.

Movie looks cool. Dreamworks + Steven Spielberg + memorable cartoon franchise.

The toy in the picture looks cheap though.

I actually had a friend who cried when OP died. Says its the saddest thing he ever saw, which is of course sad in and of itself.

An aside: could you guys please settle on a consistent target for your forum thread links? Some open in new windows, some don't… it's very disorienting. :( (I'd prefer the same window, FWIW.)

We'll take it into consideration. With Tim and Bindi away at computex it's a little hectic right now with many people editing different articles and using what they think is best. No worries though :)

Mneh, hardly the most important thing - I was surprised i wasn't the only one to pick up on it :p but since it was mentioned :)

Personally, I only notice because I tend to open the site & open every new article at once... so in a backwards way, think of it as a compliment via the number of articles read :)

Won't the screen be easy to damage? After all, it's going to be used as a toy and will get allot of abuse!

    Dam it looks ugly!!

and yer i dont expect that screen to last very long at all, not without an adamantium casing.

Oh look mummy my transformer has transformed its self into hundreds of little building blocks.
