This might seem like a stupid question, but when did milk and cereal become popular together? Was it always marketed by the companies when the product was invented? Or was it just chosen by the customers as the best liquid to use?
Wouldn't it be a progression of milk+oats = porridge? Either way, milk and cereal is awesome. yes, i'm looking at you, Jamie
unless it's wheatbiks and honey/golden syrup...then cereal needs milk. or fruitloops, theyre good without milk too
I just have rolled oats and milk. People think I'm weird. Perhaps I am, but wait till you've tried it! H.B.
the kellogg brothers invented cold breakfast cereal http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breakfast_cereal the milk bit was all marketing I believe
In the afternoon when there is no milk around, dry cereal reigns supreme in room B8 (my room!). There is nothing nicer than a good bowl of Frosties or Alpen and ice cold milk for breakfast. Most people here have toast and chocolate spread for breakfast. Eugh!
You freak. Then again your no where near as bad as Geoff with his constant cereal munching. Crunchy Nut Cornflakes with cranberries is the best cereal I've ever had.
Not a very convincing argument. I can think of many things that would turn your milk brown and i'm sure you wouldn't want to eat those.
BRAN FLAKES! They help prevent you getting bowel cancer, don'tchaknow? Actually, I like Fruit and Fibre a lot. I'd heard it was the Kelloggs people too...
As awesome as that stuff is, it just isn't worth the trouble for me "a good clean out" if you know what i mean
