Loki preview

http://www.bit-tech.net/gaming/2007/...loki_preview/1

Hack 'n' Slash; easy in theory, yet hard to do well. We take Loki out for a spin to see if it is destined for glory or if it should be left to rot in a dungeon somewhere.

Any idea if it's going to be subscription based or a one off purchase?

Pretty cheap for an MMO. If they get the issues sorted it could be a good alternative.

Indeed. I'm still waiting, loyally, but at least there'll be Hellgate London here soon (probably before Fallout 3, anyway), and then, of course, Fallout 3. Hey, did you know there's going to be a D2 ladder reset Monday? (Not just speculation it's on the arreat summit) Meaning possibly new runewords... (just figured I'd spread the news... =D)

This is definitely a top-notch preview. Kudos again to bit-tech to drawing comparisons to the old-yet-ubiquitous Dungeon Siege. Good eye for gameplay and great insight when different gamer tastes were accounted for. Another quality article for sure.

Paradigm Shifter will become famous soon enough
Gawd, I hope it's not as buggy as Titan Quest. That game sits, more or less unplayed on a shelf because a few minutes after installing it, my GPU at the time decided to spontaneously combust. Seeing that it was playing everything else fine before that day, I concluded the game did something... how, though, I have no idea.

Still... £20. Might be worth it for the stress relief, if nothing else.
