Celtic Chainsaw Massacre !!

I've deciced its time to start showing off my new project "The Celtic Chainsaw Massacre", so far, theres been a Welsh dragon laser cut into the side panel and the interior has been anodised red (except the mobo which is going to be painted) and the outside "Splash" anodised in black and red. The anodising was sorted for me by Tom over at Chilled Pc in the UK. Its going to be an air cooled project that will unfold over the next few weeks but i loved the look so much i wanted to post today !! Thoughts and ideas appreciated folks !

Edited and in full view, i was a bit worried it would take too long to load up !!

 

Its polished then Anodised Black then splash anodised red !! I think its popular on mountain bike parts so it was time to try it on a pc case, apparantly its really shiny in the flesh but i wont have it back till mid week !!

Cheers guys, its not a paint job though or airbrushed, its an electrolytical process - anodising and the splash anodising is a bit unusual (originally i wanted white/green - white cant be done ! Then red/green but apparrantly that produced some s**t brown side effect so red on black it is !)!!

 

please make a guide for that kind of painting , because thats looks cool_

I found this guide to give you an idea, its not something you could do at home without the equipment and electrolytical baths !! The splash anodising is a little more unusual i think and i had it done through Chilled Pc in Wales and a great job they did too !!

Not keen on the dragon myself (good cutting and all) but that paint job is awesome!

Thanks Tale Gunner, its not made of wood but its got a kind of theme running to it, its going to be a couple of weeks in the making - going for the nice clean set up look and a few subtle mods !! I figure the dragon wont be everybodys cup of tea JC but its the Celtic theme to the project !! Hope it'll look good lit up at night with some red cathodes!

 

FFS people its not a paint job, its anodized ...and yes its looks great. Should turn out to be one kick a$$ mod.
