The demo is such a frigging tease. You could cut the atmosphere in this game with a knife and the presentation is just astonishing. Can't wait.

I've now been downloading since about 9am, and I've not finished.
It's very, very, very, very, very slow. You'd think that with the money MS get from LIVE! subs they could afford better bandwidth.

Yeah its been uber slow for me, ive been downloading since 1pm. Either its M$'s getting raped for bandwidth or its the fact that i payed my net bill late and my service is at half speed.

Yay, finally got it, never played System Shock myself, but wow, this game is awesome. Reminded me quite a bit of King Kong with it's cinematic, moody visuals and the lack of mountains of ammo, but a bazillion times better.

I played it (twice) last night, a full 12 hour download was not fun :/

I can honestly say it meets every expectation in terms of atmosphere and game play thus far, obviously only time will tell if its got the meat to make it last through the entire story.
I will say though one think I was disappointed with was the graphics. I don't know if it's specifically the 360 version, or that its a demo and it's been cut down like the RB6 demo was on 360 but I was consistently picking out poor textures. It's kind of half RB6 (on 360) and Gears of War in terms of graphics but it never left me thinking "does it get any better than this?", hardly pushing the envelope on that front, specifically a section of the opening sequence looked rather poor.

Also loving the (what I am counting as) half-life reference.

I do think though that despite the down falls it's going to be a great game, I can't wait to see how the story develops though I'll probably be playing it on medium or hard as on easy the demo was far too easy. Maybe for once a game company has a good concept of what easy and hard are?
