the time for the switch to vista has arrived ...... unfortunately.
Is it confirmed that this game will run on DX10 only ? I was hoping to wait the first service pack before switching to vista for good. |

You sure, why did they bother with the comparison vids earlier in the year?
Also given the valve survey from earlier only a small % of gamers can run dx10, this would be a stupid decision.

To convince people to upgrade to DX10? If it's DX10 only, I simply won't be playing it, and it's their loss. Lets hope it isn't, though I'm pretty sure it won't be, as I'm sure most people know just how small the Vista penetration is into gamer's machines.

It's DX10 and DX9 - the version we played at i31 was DX9 running on XP.

Awesome, will be interesting to see just how well this runs on my machine. Quite impressed with how smoothly Bioshock ran, as well as Medal of Honour Airborne.

It's not necessary since it does everything XP can and more. The sooner you upgrade the sooner you get used to the changes ![]() I upgraded to the PC in my sig to play this. Bioshock runs smooth with everything maxed out at 1600x1200 so hopefully Crysis should too.
