The official Virginia state report into the Virginia Tech massacre has officially found no link at all between violent games and the actions of Seung Hui Cho.

I think we should just burn all the books so kids wouldn't know what a gun is.

Certainly good to see they seem to have done some thorough investigation into this issue. And certainly nice to see at least one shooting seemingly not linked to computergames at all ...

Jack Thompson is a very odd man. Strange how he manages to change the playing of a game into 'trained on'. Yes, because 'training' on Doom definitely prepares you for real-life violence.

At least this is a step towards realising that games don't make people violent, being nuts makes people violent. We will never know 100% why he did it or why any of them do it, just be thankful for those that survive and remember those who didn't.

Im curious what scapegoat for violence was used before games and TV were invented.

he spent alot of time righting so I'm pretty sure he explained why he killed everyone if you got of hold of what he wrote. To me that would seem a more logical aproch before blaming games.
