Post a screenshot of your music folder.

Just like the title says. If it won't all fit on one screenshot, post two. Post the size of the folder too, so we know if you're grabbing discographies or just a few tracks.

Here's mine, its 24.4GB. 3700+ tracks, 192 MP3 (I wont rip at less, ideally it would be 320 but I dont have a good enough set of speakers to hear the difference, at least not enough to justify the HD space.)

As you can see i have no music on my PC, infact i now own almost no CD's. Vinyl though is something i have plenty of, because it is not capped, compressed, DRM'd, low quality, etc.

I've been working on clearing out/clearing up/ripping stuff for the past week or so, so I've only got 4.28GB at the moment. But everything's 192Kbps MP3s. It could easily be larger if they were FLAC files. A better measure would be number of tracks, which is just under 700 at last count.

If you want the actual music... it's here: http://www.aquamods.com/misc/music.txt (open in Excel as tab-separated)

Breaks out different than I'd expected though - 11.7GB audiobooks, 7GB podcasts, 14.2GB videos, 20GB music. No idea where the massive difference comes from... probably podcast duplicates from when my library file decided to take a short break.

Well the reason i wanted screenshots was so this was more a comparison of tastes, instead of everyone showing their musical e-penis... also your link doesn't work.

Yeah fixed that, forgot I could resize the icons so they'd actually show in less than forty screenshots

Where do you get current stuff on vinyl? The couple odd stores I've been to that sell vinyl only have older stuff as far as I can tell.

Meh, touche^ ...My music spans alot of stuff, for good or for bad

But Gallows are basically insanely heavy ginger rock, and Emanuel are fast punk, pretty good **** tbh

This is true, but the darkness are actually pretty good for that one album...And evanescence...well ok you got me there. That IS kind of like admitting to being a poison fan.
