I don't think an exact reason has been said but maybe, since their office is literally on the same road as Microsoft's, Nintendo wanted to get the sales members away from Microsoft's prying eyes.

George Harrison has been out of the limelight for some time though. He did a lot of pressers during the N64 and GameCube days though. He's a cool dude in my book.
