My Mac

I have a apple computer. I need to unzip .sit files for it, but the only problem, I need to be able to install the expander off of a floppy disk and work with Mac OS 8.1

What's the question here? Are you looking for a stuffit expander that's compatible with 8.1?

I think, if that's the case, then it's a bit of a stretch today. The easiest route would be to copy the files that need to be extracted to a 10.3/10.4 system that has The Unarchiver installed, extract, then copy them back over. Unfortunately I don't really have a better solution for you, but you're not going to find much that'll run in 8.1 today.
