Oblivion gets one more piece of DLC

http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2007/10...piece_of_dlc/1

Oblivion, which many of us in the office still play regularly, is set to get one final piece of downloadable content on the Xbox 360 and PC. No news on the PS3 though.

Morrowind is king of the RPG genre, along with Diablo II LOD.

I guess after spending 92hours in the game doing the side quests, I should REALLY consider actually starting the main game quest, net alone shivering isles also.

Same here, put it away after the first weekend of owning it, Morrowind was much better IMO. I've heard Oblivion is pretty good once you mod the hell out of it, but I really can't be bothered to go to that much effort.

Oblivion was fun, but i never thought it was good as it seemed to be deemed ....

And the DLC was a joke, what a rip off

Im still trying to force myself to play oblivion because after the first 5 mins I though WTF is this crap. I thought the point of the game of the year edition is that it has all the download content in it. Now the Game of the Year folks still need to download to have the complete game.

Oh look another frivolous addition. THANKS BEHEDESA!

You know, if they put the effort of this frankly pants DLC into a more solid form, we'd have another exp. Shivering Isles was great.

I like the DLC as a cheaper way to get property in the game. Wizards tower + a few grand = a awesome place to store stuff and do alchemy, etc.

Worth it to me. Plus you really can't put a price on having a well dressed horse, I don't know how you think horse armour was a waste.

It's the same thing for me, and the mod forum contributes a great deal to that. There's just no end to the mods being produced by the community.
Here's a nice thread with graphics-, sound- and gameplay-enhancing mods which will make the game even more goodlooking and atmospheric There's also a section in there (Overhaul) that has mods that changes the gameplay a lot. Worth checking out for those who did not like Oblivion as Bethesda intended it

Guilty I still haven't finished either Morrowind and Oblivion.
