Absolutely, switch over to ninja keycaps and you've basically got a Filco for less than half price, with a nice red mounting plate

Good question. It's brand new and was bought direct from www.cmstore.eu. Either they have listened to the enthusiast community and decided to tone the branding down a bit, or they made a batch of cases which didn't go through the "branding machine".

Either way it looks 90% more awesome without the ugmo logos everywhere.

The black board with red plate is only available with reds, lucky because they're my favourite

With you on the font though, suppose they have to differentiate themselves somehow

Bit of a sideways move really, went from a Pro to this, so lost number pad and partial backlighting but gained a smidge of build quality and some desk space

Reds for gaming and blues for typing do it for me, but browns are a happy medium.

Not that lucky, $850(CAD?) is almost exactly what I have paid (£520), I could have got it for £455 but Phones4U refused to sell me one.
