Sweet.. You seen either before? Went to see WT in Bristol back in April, going to see them in Brum on the 28th.

Also heard that Tarja was going to cover Alice Cooper's "Poison" on her new album/tour... I don't know whether to be happy, sad or downright depressed - I can't see the song translating well into an operatic style voice...

Anyways, I think its Brum we're going to see Nightwish, so may see you there mate!

Put on order this morning:
MacBook (black) 13.3-inch, 2.2GHz
2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM - 2x2GB
250GB Serial ATA drive (5400rpm)
SuperDrive 8x (DVD+R DL/DVD RW/CD-RW)

and to keep it safe,
LArobe Black & White for MacBook (Sleeve)

Nice way to spend 1600quid.

I was adviced by a freind that 3d design apps are fairly ram hungry, and i suppose it means i don't need to replace/upgrade in the future.
The lappy will be used mainly to do web design and 3d design, while my main rig is devoted to games and music playing

well, if you are seriously into 3D macbook still wont cut the mustard, especially that integrated graphics will slow down your preview, and the hdd is rather slow as for scratch drive, why didnt you get macbook pro? additional screen estate + more gfx power is very handy when doing graphics stuff

True, but i was captivated by the sleek blackness, and i didn't want anything too big, wanted something smallish so it would be suitible for traveling, my current asus which i wabe goodbye too next week has clocked quite a few thousand miles since i bought it, been to france and back a few times now.
