We've been following Unreal Tournament 3 very closely these last few months, but now it has all come to this final test. Is the game any good and does Ageia PhysX add anything? We find out. Strap yourself in - it's review time, baby!

I don't think the main character from SP could look any more like Dom from Gears.

I can't wait to play this... along with Crysis, COD4, HL2:EP2, Portal, Gears, etc - maybe I'll get some time at some point soon!

The single player campaign (or what you described of the "story" behind it...) reminds me of the plot of the Doom movie...

Other than that, I can't quite help but think that I expected more. But I'm sure it'll still be a blast.

I'm gonna buy the Collectors Edition... The tutorials will come in handy when making maps with the new editor, I've already managed to forget how the previous editor works

Going by screenshots i don't think the entire game could look any more like GoW

The world detail thing is a bit odd, it just looks like mega HDR on the distant buildings.

On the other hand, they have the Birmingham Rotunda there, so that nice

I bought the collectors edition in the tin on the way to work this morning, can't wait for 5:00.....

If the demo is anything to go by this game is going to be seriously good. I loved the original UT and 2k3, and i've been waiting for this game for a long, long time.

I think you got this wrong, GoW looks like UT3, for GoW uses its engine

but.. I don't like te fact this game is released now, I don't wanna fail at school, and most definitly will.

Some of you guys might know how much of a UT-whore I am ... Which means I am happy you gave it such a good score Joe because good reviews will bring more new players to the game

It is incredibly aweful. UT players got use to menus with lots of options and functionalities and now we lost about 90% of them and it feels (wait, it IS) literally like a console menu. It makes me mad...

It was waiting for me when I came home from work, but after installing it, it just doesn't want to run on my system (just get a black screen). despite the min. specs. being for a 6200 (I'm on a 6600).

edit:

works on my Vista install, just not my XP install (on the same PC).
