A-DATA releases DDR3 at 2GHz
http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2007/11...ddr3_at_2ghz/1
Usually it's Corsair or OCZ hitting new heights in memory speeds, but for once it seems that A-Data is getting in on the blazing fast DDR3 action with some Vitesta DDR3-2000X.

Is there really a need for this sort of memory speed yet? Does it offer any notable performance of DDR3-1333 or for that matter, DDR2-1066 or 800?

2000Mhz stock is still a 2:1 memory ratio at 500Mhz FSB, I can't see anyone needing much more memory speed then that. If you do need more FSB, lower the ratio down a bit.
