Windows Free Half life 2 and Ep.1

You heard me, i bought the orange box (which is great) and already have both HL2 and ep1 so im giving them out for free. Ill need your steam id and ill give it to the person who most needs it, so be sure to give me a good reason.

I would love them if you wouldn't mind. I've never actually played either of the two but my friends have told me they are excellent, even if you replay them more than once. I myself would go buy orange box myself but i tried it and i just prefer battlefield 2 and counterstrike source, plus im short on money since it is the christmas season, and i've been spending my money on my case mod which is at a standstill because lack of time, money, and because its too cold out at the moment. Over here in Canada its too cold to go outside and mod at this time of the year and i need to help me kill my time. Which order is it? Half life 2, half life 2 episode one, half life 2 lost coast? Does it matter? Any story parts?

Lost Coast doesn't really fit in with the story IIRC, it's just a tech demo, although Joe would know for sure It was released between HL2 and Ep 1 however.

Lost Coast is definitely just a tech demo.

IIRC, Lost Coast was actually a cut segment of the game that was re-worked into the HDR tech demo. I don't remember exactly where it fits into the game though.

yep, it was cut from half life 2 and fitted between the levels highway 17 and sandtraps

Episode 1 was very good, if a little short. I found Episode 2 was the best of them, but you have to give just regular Half-Life 2 kudos for starting it all.

Will Garry's 9 mod work with just Half-Life 2 alone? I honestly don't think the older Garry's mod needs Counter-Strike Source nor HL2DM resources.

Garry's Mod needs CS too, but you dont need to own it. The game will just preload to your HDD and let you get the content that way.

And yes, Lost Coast was a section cut from HL2. The story originally had Gordon being forced off the road in his Jeep on Highway 17 by an APC and a helicopter. Adrift in the sea, he washes up on the otherside of the bay and is rescued by the Fisherman and put to work on taking down the Headcrab Gun. When he's finished that, the Fisherman has found him a new vehicle and wishes him luck, sending him through the Sandtraps and on to Nova Prospekt.
