Duke Nukem Forever trailer tomorrow

http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2007/12...ler_tomorrow/1

No, we're not joking. Yes, they have promised. The most delayed game ever will get a trailer released online tomorrow.

The game looks like it's on par with F.E.A.R, which is kind of old already.. Too bad, really

Unreal II engine?
So not far behind the times, then.

Hey, they gored it and rewrote it, so what does it matter? We'll see what 3D realms did to it then. Also, the teaser trailers supposed to come in 7 hours as of this post

Hehe, I never played the original Duke Nukem games, but this game has become legendary in itself (due to the eternal wait). It had better be good if it ever sees the light of day.

I'm thinking along the lines of Doom 3 graphics.

Why massive rewrite a four year old engine when you could use a nice shiny new one and make DNF look exactly like GOW or UT3 etc. At least the graphics would look upto date.

I'll buy DNF the moment it comes out, good or bad. It just seems like such a shame to give up on it after all it went through. Maybe in a charity kind of way, but I've always had this strange kind of customer loyalty (likewise I'm a ATI-loyalist just because they provided some games olang with my first PC (stupid I know, can't help it)).

I enjoyed DN, played at school over the network, without the IT 'teacher' realising.
But now, as an adult with a job, I don't know when I'd be able to play with my mates,

Tomorrow, we get a look at the newest version, which is built on a heavily modified version of the Unreal II engine which has been massively rewritten.
Tautology much?

And what is 'CST'? Give us a meaningful UTC+/- offset will you?!

Graphics don't matter it's the game play that matters. Let's hope they make it good, because the UT3 community is dieing (so few players it doesn't even show up on GameSpy's stat page anymore - less than 180)

wow... is it ten years allready? Time flies when you have fun with other games. I searched on youtube (you never know) and found the first dukenukem vid. The funy thing is, the first screen the video comes up with, I remember it all in a instance again. Amazing!

Dukenumem ep1le1

And then there is someone who thinks he is funy comes up with this lol!:
DukeNukem 2007

You know I'm genuinely excited about this. I'm almost willing 3D Realms to finally release DNF just because I feel so sorry for them after 10 years of very public baiting.

Hmmm...not entirely convinced. After all, DNF also stands for "Did Not Finish"...
