So much for Xbox 360 exclusive - EA has confirmed it'll bring BioWare's Mass Effect to the PC with some new extra content to boot.

Yay!

Not too worried about the quality of the port, given the team behind the game and the fact that KotOR's PC release followed an almost identical pattern.

My interpretation of events:

Microsoft at release: "IT R ONLY ON XBOX. BUY XBOX TO PLAY IT."

Devs a few months later: "So, yeah.. it was really developed with PC in mind but we needed the money from Microsoft's exclusivity deal. Sorry guys. Here's the game the way it was really intended to be played."

I think my PC-gaming snobbery is becoming a complex..

If PC gaming is dying, why do devs keep investing in top quality games for PC, lol. I knew this was going to happen, can't wait to play the best version of mass Effect.

The witcher, Mass Effect, Mask of the Betrayer, the PC has the BEST RPG and shooter lineup of the last year.

Would be interesting if you can only bind your special skills for you and your team - the pause in the action bar your single mapped skill can be useful to set off chains of events

"We're hoping the awfully slow elevator sequences will be sped up too." they will if you have a fast Hard Drive considering they we slow to cover up loading off the disk.

I thought it was a bit strange that Microsoft would deny the PC this, I mean they could make it Vista only and then it would benefit them tremendously!

We would hate that of course but makes sence from a Microsoft standpoint to boost Vista sales.
