It's official. Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 is a go and all eyes are on EA as they make a sequel to the best RTS ever crafted.

WAAAAAHHHH!!!!! Yay and double yay! Along with the Spore preview today is a good day to be alive!

And for the record, Red Alert 2 was better than C&C, but only because it built upon what C&C had already created. Although in actuality, Red Alert was better than all of them.

My fav is the Original C&C, Tiberian Sun and Generals. Not a big fan of Red Alert or Red Alert 2, although Samkiller42 keeps making me play Red Alert 2 all the time. No doubt ill get RA3 to complete my collection but ive yet to buy C&C3 and get it installed

Come on Sam, when are we going to play Tiberian Sun?

Im here mike, have no fear. RA2 is the BEST in the Red Alert Universe from the Entire C&C stuff, C&C Gold is the best from that, although C&C3 is awesome enough. Sorry mike, Tiberium sun was crap, and looks worse than C&C gold on my 30".
RA3 was annouced years ago in an email that EA sent to people, then a few months later, C&C3 was announced. Frank Klepacki better be doing the OST to RA3, and follow up on the awesomeness of Hell March and Hell March 2. I will definatley be buying this, and like C&C 3 will be working my way up the 1v1 Ladder.

Red Alert 2 = best RTS ever. Period. Yuri's Revenge = Best RTS expansion pack ever. I still find myself playing it with friends when I have the time.

Great news!!
I always prefered Red Alert. It has so much more flavour then C&C.
Tiberium Wars Was very nice, but lacked that something.. something Red Alert had.

RA2 was the best C&C universe game I ever got to play.. much better than C&C3...
nevertheless best RTS is atm for me is SupCom... love the game and the gameplay...

Please. For the love of God.... let this RTS game have a proper zoom out. I get claustrophobic playing C&C3... its zoomed in so close to the bloody ground.

Make it like Supreme Commander's zoom and it will be GOLD !

Starcraft 2, Alan Wake, Spore, Red Alert 3..... 2k8 is looking like it could bring out a few top titles. (provided spore and Starcraft 2 actually get released in 2k8 and Red alert has a 2k8 schedule as well which currently is unknown).

Still play it multiplayer to this day, infact on sunday just past =]
Shame it dont run right in vista (due to lack of ipx i think) but works flawlessly in a virtual PC

Which is better? That's like asking whether I prefer marshmallows covered in chocolate or pancakes, they're both awesome.

On one hand, Tiberium has Kane and an awesome post-apocalyptic feel, but RA has russian accents, it's too tough to decide.
