he prolly thought t would be best to leave on height of success (i.e. shortly after blue ray won) so he can get a better job than certain other ceo's who dont leave until they almost killed the company.

Leaving before the poop hits the fan in Sony US central. Compared to the PS1 and PS2 the PS3 has tanked.
