Looks great. I have V2K as well and oddly thought of hitting it with white. LOL. Looks great to me. Go for it.

If done well this kind of idea could lead to a really good case. Im staying tuned (Realising that white cases are actually quite thin on the ground)

Nice paint job! I'm actually planning on painting (hopefully powdercoating) my Lian Li PC-101 when it's finished being cut up and wondered if you have any good advice for someone getting an aluminum Lian Li case powdercoated? Did you need to worry about the rails and slots for the side panels and keep them from getting clogged with paint and them being too small afterwards to get the side panel on right? Did the brushed aluminum of the side panels need any prepping (sanding)? What should we not expect a paint or powdercoat job to do?

Most powder coaters are a drop off we do the work place. Doesnt need sanding but they should degrease it for you.
Its a 70 micron coating on mine, its just like a coat of paint. My rails ect have been done and its hasnt effected the fit ect.
If you are doing windows or other case mods do them before the coat though as then you will have nice clean coated cuts.
My full case cost me £100 including return postage.

Powder will be more hard wairing.
Paint can look better and is easier to achive a good finish.

Done afew small parts to the case,

Removed the centres from the 5 1/4" drive bay fan mount and the hdd mounts so you can see the white fans better

And started work on the fan conroller mounting...

I am actualy really happy with it there, the 120mm fan cage isnt very deep so the controller is still actualy bolted into the 5 1/4 bays to make it nice and sturdy. The colours will be white, red and chrome/stainless/mirror ect.
I think the chrome/stainless works well with the white case and Im so glad I didnt use the black zalmans now.

Next job will be to make the rad cut outs in the bottom of the case and paint the radiator white

They work with the screws and fillport, so stainless was a good idea.

Ok just so you know, when I viewed the first set of pics, I THOUGHT IT WAS A LIGHT PINK. Must be taking the picture in a darker type room with a dark wall. LOL, I was scared there for a second, I couldnt fathom where a pink case was going for a heaven and hell case.

LOOKS GOOD though.

That can probably be easily solved by setting the white balance on the camera and using the case as the "benchmark" for what white should be.
