Thermaltake Toughpower QFan 650W
http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/200...er_qfan_650w/1
Thermaltake introduces a new QFan to its Toughpower range, adding this new 14cm "silent" performer to modular connectivity and a five year warranty. Is it enough to tempt you away from everyone else in the busy mainstream market?

Is there any particular reason why so many manufacturers (I know they are from the same OEM) are choosing to put the silly piece of plastic there? They much have done some research into it, because otherwise they wouldn't have changed from the norm. This must surely mean that there is some benefit to it?
Great review though as always ![]() Why did you test it at 800W though? Its a 650W power supply isn't it?

agreed on the mutirail thing... When they first advertised this as a feature to look for a was a bit unsure, cause really, there are some single rail ones out their with like 60 amps... oh well I guess this is what the market wants

lol, that's not our offices - that's in Enermax's UK offices (where we borrow their equipment to test the PSUs ourselves).
