The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation has announced that it is to distribute one of its most popular shows via BitTorrent.

Give me DRM free "Rick Mercer Report" and "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" and I might be more interested. It's a good step forward anyway. Good job CBC!

could customers of Rogers Internet not protest the filtering of bit torrent traffic as they are trying to legally grab a copy of their favorite canadian tv show?:P

that is awesome, and i agree, DRM is the steal ball locked into the media leg.....

Have they included embedded advertising? (not ad breaks) If they have that's great because it makes free bit-torrent distribution viable.

I've posted this before but it's a very good point the guy makes - Piracy is Good?
