The shadows across the plateau's looks nice, but the raining and roof detract from the picture a little.
Stand at the edge of the porch tomorrow morning and take the picture then?

The second one is really nice. The first one could be nice if you cropped it a bit. Maybe use the roof and railing (and even the bush to the left) as a "natural frame".

I have to say I much prefer the 2nd version. I think color and detail is better. It's obvious that the camera isn't the best in the world but it does a very good job.
In case you want to stick with 3rd version, I'd suggest you crop away that straight dark "bar" on the left and just a teeny weeny bit on the right (only very little). Perhaps give it 1 or 2% more saturation.
Just holding my hand against monitor I reckon that 3rd version can easily beat the 2nd if cropped right.
All in my own humble opinion of course

The second is my pick of the lot. I think it would have been really neat if you could have used the two posts on the patio as well as the roof overhang and the top of the rail to fit on the edge of the frame, making a natural frame for the picture.

Should I cut a bit of the right off? Around where the little dip on the left side of the hill is, just above the horison? It kinda looks out of proportion..

Hey guys, walked out of the house into an amazing "sun behind a cloud" view so I jumped on the roof quickly, took a few snaps. Which one of the 5 looks best?

Awesome pictures! I like the first one best. The colors seems more natural.
