I can't believe people use Limewire, which is bascially a rebadged version of Kazaa! What is this? 1999? I guess it's very user friendly (bar the security holes and lawsuit's from the RIAA), and easy to find stuff, which is what the majority of average joe "users" want.

Incidentally, yes, I and everyone i know uses Utorrent.

I was using G3 for torrents until I discovered the bliss which is Usenet.

Used to use uTorrent, but then I had to use linux for a while so I moved to Deluge (deluge-torrent.org), it's basically the open source version of uTorrent. They're still not quite stable (still on v0.5), but coming along, and you can use the same program for windows and linux and OSX (plus there's a web gui).

ktorrent is fine for linux, works perfectly, inbuilt RSS and web interface. Exceptionally stable.

I used to use uTorrent on Windows though and they feel very similar

I use BTG (http://btg.berlios.de) for my TV/Movie stuff (As it's on my PVR) and uTorrent for everything else.

I used to use TorrentFlux, but that had a tendency to eat CPU and s**t bandwidth, as it used PHP to call the Python command-line client multiple times (Which would pretty much peg the CPU with a few torrents going at once), whereas BTG is very nice and streamlined, has a good multi-user web interface, oh and it auto-resumes downloads properly, which is something I couldn't get TorrentFlux to do.

I use uTorrent on occasion as its one file, and its got a 64bit version

So hate having 32bit apps running on my machine, things like games, office etc will run as 32bit thats fine, but mediaplayer, msn etc all need to be 64bit

Avast! went off on one yesterday convinced there was a trojan in the .exe and installer, the latest beta works fine though, and considering that's the only problem I've encountered I'm quite happy to keep recommending utorrent to anyone that asks.

Lol, brings back memories of children's programs.

Anyway, I've used a fair few torrent clients in my time and Âµtorrent is by far and away the best, it's the perfect match between stability, accessibility and functionality.
