I know a 3G iPhone would be REALLY cool, but all this alleged evidence pointing to it is pretty sketchy. Furthermore there has been absolutely nothing to suggest a potential new iPhone might have GPS.

People are perfectly level headed when it comes to speculation and rumour.... EXCEPT when it comes to Apple! All this hype and over-excitement can only be a bad thing you know. Remember how disappointed people were with Crysis?!

The N95 has a smaller footprint than the iPhone you know. I know its much thicker, but I think that just makes it easier to hold in your hand.

If just Nokia didnīt remove the micro SD card slot on the inproved N95 (aka N95 8GB). 8GB is too tiny if you want to use the phone as a video player.

It's just the iPhone can do more and have a cool interface.

I wasn't bothered about an iPhone until my Apple hating mate had one bought for him and now he loves it. Having used it myself, it really is the best phone on the market imho only being beaten in photos by a Nokia 6500 (Gadget show).

I don't want it until it's a got a price tag of one pound.

Till then I'll make do with my phone that does phone calls and text messages. Not really fussed over anything else!

I must admit, the N95 series phone from Nokia is a TANK of a phone. It really is mega thick in comparison to pretty much any phone on the market currently.

And then of course you have the Nokia Symbian Interface to contend with. I have a Nokia E65 phone which uses a fairly similar version of the OS. Its OK for phone use... but leagues behind the iphone interface. Just try using them both side by side for a compare.

The iphone though, despite having all the Jesus mod cons available lacks some basic phone features from what I understand (Proper MMS and SMS support). It needs a new camera which can autofocus and be atleast 4/5 Megapixels, and it needs proper Bluetooth, not that limited stack it currently has.

So, from the photo in the snippet, is the new iphone going to be cylindrical and you switch it on by sucking one end of it?

I'm also wondering if the ruling to make mobile sellers unable to lock phones to a network will affect sales in any way?

I may be so very tempted when the jail-breaking begins. Did someone find Michael Schofield yet?

Meh, it always has been too big for me, it just wouldn't comfortably fit in my pocket. I know it's required for the interface, but for me that just means the interface is wrong.
