India gets fibre link to UK

India is due to get a 15,000 kilometre fibre-optic connection to the UK with a capacity of 3.84 terabits and connection points in a further eleven countries.

Yes, lets be truthful about this. It's got nothing to do with improving internet connectivity of the countries involved, and everything to do improving connections between call centres in India and the UK.

Yay, all those companies that have not got a india call centre yet will have soon. Enjoy the last remaining UK call centres will you can, because they will be missed.

None of those countries are likely to provide porn sites, so why bother with all that speed? its wasted i tell you
