MMO are great, but there great for PC's.
Console gamers are just to casual for this to work properly. OK, it might be a hit from day one, but will people be still play 6 months later.... of course not the next MGS4 or GT5 will be out. Unless great content is release every 3-6 months and then there is the issue of HDD space. Just how much content can you force on a 40GB PS3 owner. I'm well aware that the HDD can be upgraded, but will the average casual PS3 owner be willing too?... of course not. Yet again, great idea, but this should be a PC release |

MMO's imo will always be better on a PC. The best a console got to a MMO (although technically not a MMO, but RPG) was Shining Force 3 on the Saturn which had me playing ages.
Will be interesting to see how much MMO's affect PS3 sales though.

We said the same thing about fps, and while I still agree that they're miles better on PC, they are still very successful on console.
I think it could work out fine for Sony. Especially since the console MMO market doesn't have a wow yet. Anyone know which system had the most FF11 players on it? That would show an inkling of how successful future console MMO's would be. |

it all depends on how the developers use the systems resources. some devs just dont do AA in their games. the PS3 is very capable of it.
