Corsair hits world record RAM overclock

Memory manufacturer Corsair has beaten all rivals to claim the biggest overclock for a DDR3 module yet, using its Dominator DDR3 RAM to achieve a frequency of 2462MHz.

Admittedly, it sounds like fun to try and best their score, but I think it might cost us, mere mortals, more than it cost Corsair..
Dominator has to be pocket change to a company that big.

I have always used Corsair as "for me" they seam to be the best memory out there

go, go, go Corsair!
changed from OCZ Platinum rev2 800Mhz 2x1GB 4-4-4-15 sticks to the cheapest Corsair XMS2 800Mhz 2x2GB 5-5-5-18. and got better overclock results than the lower density OCZ counterparts! even though i keep hearing higher density RAM won't overclock as good. achieved 900Mhz with just 2.0v on the 4 Corsairs (4 pass on MemTest), while the 4 OCZ required 2.1v to get 800Mhz at same latency.
