Penny Arcade Adventures: Episode One
http://www.bit-tech.net/gaming/2008/...-episode-one/1
The full name is actually "Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness", but we couldn't fit it in the headline. No matter. The real issue is whether or not Tycho and Gabe can make a game worth playing. We take the Xbox 360 version out for a spin...

How long is it? I keep hearing that it's short, but is it short in a waste-of-money kinda way?

In the conclusion: theNarrator's and thegameplay, shouldn't there be a space between the and the word after it?
Looks nice, might give it a try.

I was thinking of downloading the demo this morning. Looks like I am leaving the PC running over night again.

The demo has convinced me. The animation alone is worth it for me.
I'm one of those people that has to smash every single box, bin, crate, bottle, thing on my way so games like this take me ages.. Actually, come to think of it all games take me ages. I spent about 20 hours on my first time through HL2. Bioshock kept me going for about 30. I'm still playing GTA IV (damn boxes keep re-spawning! )

They respawn in Precipice too.
The only thing that disappointed me was the lack of any voice-overs, apart from the narrator. I agree with the comment about the grinding too - there's too much combat with too little story. I've managed to get the cat furball once - didn't realise the odds were that low!

Got the demo earlier. It's incredibly short! But I enjoyed it a lot so I might have to splash out for the full version.

I played the demo and bought the game right after I finished the demo. There is a LOT of humor besides the obvious storyline stuff such as when clicking on random things. I thought the turn based combat system would be boring, but it's actually pretty cool and the animations are hillarious (tossing oranges or the triple special.) And it runs on everybody's favorite OS (assuming your favorite OS is Windows, Linux or Mac.) I wish every game was like that. I completely beat the game with the exception of some of the music and artwork and while it was short, it was great while it lasted.
