Lol, have you tried using 3G mobile broadband? It's hardly widespread, and it hardly works! Not that WiMAX in anything other than a very, very, very flat country would work well either.

3G works very well I find when you can get a HDSPA connection (3.5G I think?). Otherwise it is pretty slow, but I can't even remember what dial up speeds were like now...
