That alone tells you what sort of money is flowing through the company.I mean to invest that much into a technology that's practically non-existent and unheard by the average consumer.It's a step into realizing the 'perfect' mobile network I guess but where does this leave the other manufacturers who simply don't have the spare cash to be seen at the event?

Yeah, the taiwanese are really trying hard to become an established player in the east but it will take a few more year just to raise the standard for living in the country.I can understand how come they want to be up there with Japan and S Korea when they're outsourcing the production in other countries though?!
