It's ok to get one now, since they are great. But wait if you are willing to wait 6 months.

the ATI HD 4850 seems to be very good for price/performance it outperforms a 8800gt and is close to the performance of a 9800gtx and it's only $200 but im sure you can find it cheaper than that.

Maybe, I not sure

My coolermaster centurion 5 case fitting 9inch graphic card no problems?. 9800gtx cannot fitting inside the case. Too big for that. The 8800gt soon be gone. I hop Nvidia Corporation they will release 9800GT next year. I will be happy to get one?.

Buying an 8800GT? Have you not seen the latest releases from both Nvidia and ATI? Seriously, wait a couple of weeks and see what happens when the 9800 GTX+ and 4850/4870 cards hit the e-tailers. There is a serious price/performance war about to erupt between Nvidia and ATI and the buying public are going to be the ones who benefit.
With some of the numbers that are being thrown around in the inital reviews for just the ATI cards, even if they're only half true, I reckon you'd be wasting your money buying an 8800GT.
