    Heya guys :)

My friend and I found two copies of GRAW2 for 20$ at EBGames so we took them to play some co-op games online (via VPN).It's great fun but the game itself has a very weird and choppy gameplay so we're looking for some other games which are fun to play co-op.

The only game I can think of at the moment that has this mode is Serious Sam 2 but meh... it's so easy and repetitive.

FPS is what we prefer the most (especially me) but if you have other suggestions, go ahead !

    thanks

    edit :

I was looking for answers on google and one of the results linked me to a thread someone made here on the forum just a few months ago. I did make a quick research but I looked for 'coop' and not 'co-op' which is why I didn't find anything. Sorry about the rather useless topic. Mods are free to delete and/or users are free to name good co-op games :)

I enjoyed the co-operative mode on Splinter Cell, using system link on the xbox.

Seconded. Pandora Tomorrow on XBL or system link was brilliant fun. Stealth-raping goons with an army knife is just so much better when the goons are real players :D

I cant wait for Call of Duty: World at War COOP on PC, where you would be able to play the single player version of the game with 3 other online game players. A bit like how Diablo II: LOD was played but on FPS OOH.. cant wait for DIABLO III either!!!!

My fave was definately Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory co-op. Although it must be said, I haven't played that many co-ops.

    3. StarLancer (Digital Anvil/Microsoft Game Studios, 2000)
    4. Diablo II (Blizzard North, 2000)
    5. Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield (Red Storm Entertainment, 2003)
    6. Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (Ubisoft Montreal, 2005)
    7. Garry's Mod
    8. Neverwinter Nights (BioWare, 2002)
    9. FreeLancer (Microsoft Game Studios, 2003)
    10. Operation Flashpoint (Bohemia Interactive, 2001)

    Garry's Mod
    Freelancer
    Serious Sam

are the coop games i'd recommend.

also, all RTS games are good. CnC3 (and RA2 was, before Vista release) are the 2 most played games in my house in Uni. nothing can beat CnC3 with 3 flatmate againest 4 computers :) pure fun, and 2v2 games were extremly intense

    Win

I also love Halo co-op, I used to spend hours replaying the best bits of the original campaign with my brother. 4 player co-op on Halo 3 is pretty awesome too, especially the last level.

nice list. I am getting curious about Garry's Mod, I might check that out

Forgot about Freelancer. We played that a few years ago and it was pretty fun

    hehe

Yeah Red Alert is a good idea, and so is Command and Conquer 3. We will definitly play that !

really nice. He's a huge Street of Rage fan so he might like the idea :D. He's got one of the songs as his ringtone
