Oh Boy, I thought that the Watchmen film might be quite good, then I saw this:-

TBH i have no idea what the watchmen is, but it looks superb.

Just having a quick read of wiki it seems like a solid story but its weird to see a superhero movie but the hero's have no power's apart from one of them.

Also can anyone figure out what music is playing in the trailer.

Watchmen is a fantastic read and a must for any comic book fan. I'm pretty happy that the from the trailer it looks to have the tone of the novel correct. It's a complex story and I'm not too sure how well it play as a film.

Comic book outfits like that don't work well in a serious live action film IMO. But other than that, it looks really cool.

You NEED to read the comic, it is absolutely awesome.

Personally, I love the costumes - especially as, if we're true to the book, then by the time the movie starts all the heroes are retired anyway.

the flashbacks will play a big role in building the characters I feel

I must say the trailer looks rather good though I know nothing of the back story it seems like it will be a movie to go see for sure.

Watchmen should be considered mandatory reading in schools. Possibly one of the greatest graphic novels ever written.

Given that 300 was virtually scene-for-scene from the original comic, I've got high hopes for this one.
