Slick work so far. Couple of things I've noticed:

1) If you want the extra PCI bays free, Koolance sells single-slot GeForce brackets (as well as Radeon brackets). Might be worth a look.

2) That quad-core insert on the Fuzion is meant for Intel quad-cores.

dtekcustoms.com: "The Quad Core Insert replaces the default FuZion v2 insert to provide more optimized directed cooling for the Intel® split quad core processors."

Since Core 2 quad-cores are technically just two dual-cores put on one slab of silicon (i.e. two separate processors), there's a physical gap between them. The idea of that insert is to split the flow of liquid so the individual processors get more directly hit with water. On a native quad-core like Phenom, all the quad-core insert will do is direct the water towards opposite edges of the processor, leaving the middle area essentially untouched. Hate to rain on your parade, but you'll most likely get better temps without the insert in place.

@phinix - Thanks man! I've not yet had a chance to play with these cards.. I opted instead to rip them and their warranties apart first, but I'm excited for my AquaComputer delivery in a couple weeks time. Unfortunately they were out of stock on the MultiSwitch, so I'll have to wait about 10days before they can send out my shipment.

@Diosjenin - I'll actually be manufacturing my own PCI brackets from copper plate, but thanks a lot for the link. Furthermore thanks so much for explaining the purpose of the insert. I just threw it into my cart at NCIX because it was recommended by their checkout robot, and it was only a couple bucks. As I mentioned earlier I've not yet installed it, but armed with this new info I think I know the perfect place to install it - the rubbish bin. Thanks again mate!

A small teaser for you all. I took delivery of my secret weapon today:

Don't bother asking where, some of, this will be used... that's a surprise. (I'm looking at you, Craig).

I will let you that a portion of this will go towards my next project - new cases for all my home theater gear, including the HTPC.
