Sony boss Kaz Hirai has commented that if given the choice he wouldn't want to launch any Xbox exclusives on the PS3.

I think something like halo would do more to fuel fan boy rivalry than help sales. But maybe if they got a game that had yet to been released on the 360, then the ps3 fanboy's wouldn't be reluctant to buy a '360' game.

lol, a bit of waste of an interview imo (not that I read to see if there was much else going on in the interview but still...) If they admitted to liking any game it could be soo badly misinterpretated - 'Sony jealous of Xbox games' etc etc.

I do admire his courage for not giving up but sony really need more exclusives to make me buy a ps3.
But if i had the choice over a console id pick the ps3, im not really sure why.

Well there are a few exclusives on the 360/PC platform that I would like to see on the PS3... whether this guy wants them there or not !!!!!

These may not be to everyone's liking but ....

Viva Pinata (the original plus the upcoming follow up)
Supreme Commander (a 360 / PC exclusive)
Halo Wars (a decent looking RTS game on the 360 only)

I couldnt care for the Gears of War or general Halo trash though.

there should be no exclusives on consoles

all games for all consoles then you buy what you want.

My thoughts too

I don't want to be forced into buying multiple consoles to play particular games, exclusives are bad thing for a lot of gamers

i agree with the above, but I don'tunderstand one a company agrees to make an exclusive title. Then they go make a deal with the other console? Anway, console games are pretty lame to begin with.

2 of those are RTS games - why would anyone want to play an RTS on a console?!

If this is correct then Xbox are just giving there customers more choice and arent limiting people to just one console to play games which is fine by me.....aint seen any PS3 games i acctually want to play yet like.
