Same.. DID EVGA suggest the idea to ATI? EVER?

Or did ATI lie about the whole thing?

AMD doesn't have much reason to lie. i bet the truth of the matter is that EVGA approached AMD in a non official type way to sounds out possibilities, AMD blew it out of proportion. EVGA's relationship with Nvidia is made vulnerable, makes a complete denial.

AMD completely fabricating a story doesn't make any sense, EVGA's explanation sounds weak to me.

I recon they probably did, but only a slight hint of a posibility on the hush, and now they are getting tetchy because they don't wannt risk their link with nVidia.

Just my 2 cents.

EVGA: Hey you want us to make some cards for you?

AMD/ATI: Ummm.. No.

EVGA: FINE! We didn't want to make any of your crappy cards anyways!

I think this is the equivalent.
