I'm intrigued on the PSU re-housing alone
![]() how are you going to stop it from catching fire? I know there are two fans but still...

looks great so far, but just like others, i have doubts about safety of this.
i would still line the whole inside of the psu with some sort of heat and flame resistant material. that's going to be an oven in there and any unlucky spark could set the whole case alight :/

Sparks can happen if short circut occurs... or if some PWM chip burns out
but i don't think it can start a fire on that thick wood |

![]() Temperature of ignition of a pine - 250 degrees Celsius. I do not think, that any power unit will be at such temperature still efficient

Oh, WOW. Don't stop. Even if there is danger involved, it's only the PSU that scares us. The shapes are cool.
Computer fires do happen. Usually it's the capacitors in the power supply or the insulation on the wiring. Just keep an extinguisher nearby.
