First dual-core Atom slips out

IDF FALL 2008: Intel has quietly announced the first dual-core Atom processor at IDF. It comes complete with a new motherboard that's almost the same as the last one.

Arrg... I just ordered an Eee PC today, I sure hope I'll be able to upgrade the processor to the dual core if it turns out to be worth it.

But the entire point behind the Intel Aton is that it is made for portable devices, especially laptops.
