NVISION 2008: We can confirm that Gearbox is not working on Halo 4 - instead, the developer's Director of Technology left to head up the new team at Microsoft.

Both XboX and PC? Yay!

Now it's going to be tough deciding what I want it on though.. Damn. >.<

I hope they add cross-platform play and the PC version doesn't lack any co-op or w/e. If it is, then I'll get get XboX version.

how can you improve on highly polished vanilla. If they go chocolate then the vanillaans will think its poop and the paladins will route the penguins and it will trip.

CryTek's new approach is better: only showcase and tell the public when there's actually something to show.

Microsoft hasn't even really mentioned Halo 4 yet publicly (other than some mouthiness on the part of some moronic execs) and it's kind of ridiculous to assume that a website that reports gaming news would just completely avoid mentioning rumors relating to the next installment of one of the highest grossing franchises around these days.

Thanks.gear box is not developing halo4. Let any other developer develop that.Halo 1 is a average game .halo 2 was a badly made game. It was not Fun..I dont know about halo 3 since it was not made for pc.But critics say it is better than halo2.They develop games using pcs,but don't release them for pc.I dont know why.I dont want to hear about halo 4 or it's developer untill halo 3 releases for pc.

Oh, I'm looking forward to this. The Halo series is great, people just complain because it overshadows THEIR favorite games.

I'm hoping for a longer campaign.

People do not complain because it overshadows other games, fanboy much? it is quite frankly, the most overrated game series ever, many better shooters around. it isn't complaining, it is called a statement.

Then why do they complain? I would agree that there are many better shooters, but not for the Xbox 360. For the Xbox, the only other 'good' shooter games in the same category are CoD 4 and The Orange Box games, and these play better on the PC anyway, in my opinion. The Halo series has an excellent storyline, and I haven't played any game with as good of a multiplayer on a console. There is minimal cheating, unlike PC games, and you don't have to deal with many bugs, unlike PC games. Bungie constantly freshens the online gametypes, and you can always find someone to play with on Xbox Live, a huge amount of people play daily.

Almost all complaints against Halo are unwarranted.
