Is Grand Theft Auto for the Wii on the cards? It seems likely after comments from Rockstar that they plan to continue working with Nintendo.

I'd rather see something that wouldn't play like arse on the Wii, thanks.

GTA IV would either look terrible, be laggy, suck control wise, or a combination of all three. Personally, I can't think of a less appropriate platform for it to be made available on.

I wouldn't mind a wii version, it's not like there haven't been any gta's on older consoles. Controls would prob be similar to SMG, c-stick for movement, d-pad for camera. Then use the wiimote +a and b button for accurate shooting and melee. Graphics wouldn't be too good, but gta4's weren't either. I wouldn't mind san andreas like graphics, i still play the pc version and they don't bother me at all.

It'll sell, but it won't be a reason to buy a Wii, and it'll make them money so meh

Why is everyone assuming that they would port GTAIV to the Wii? I would assume that all this means is that rockstar will be making GTA games for the Wii in the future, not porting games they've already made. Except if they wanted to port GTA2 then I would be all over it.
