i like it . somewhat abstract shot, theres no main subject in the pic, the lines are somewhat confusing as they lead the eye to nowhere, the composition and the blurs make it interesting, i'd like to see the same pic with richer colors. oh and that line in the right bottom corner is kinda distracting

Umm, I'm not sure what is a critique for improvement and what is a compliment.

But I am assuming these are the marks for improvement.

thumbs up: it's an abstract pic, no main subject, interesting composition and use of blurs
thumbs down: bottom line is distracting
suggestion: same version with richer colors

as for the lines in general, i cant make up my mind for now as they seem both to contribute to the picture and at the same time confusing the viewer, perhaps due to the fact there is no main subject in the pic so there's nothing really to concentrate on (although somehow my eye is dragged towards the left foot, maybe cause it's sharper)

edit: i like the 2nd version

It's nice as an abstract, but as ssR said, I wish there was a subject to draw my attention. There isn't really anything to rest my eyes on.

I do prefer the first version. The colors in the second one looks too sharp, and makes brings out some strange halo effect. This is just a matter of taste, though.

I actually like the colors and detail in the first one best. I don't find the lines distracting as I see them as "fanned out". The only thing that has bugged me all along is the single line of light that falls in between the two step on the right.

The gradient is too steep between light and dark, leaving a medium hot halo surrounding the silhouettes. The first one is a better image all around...I like it.

I hadn't even noticed the halo affect. Here's another go, less saturated and sharpened.
