Electronics [Help] Alternative Switch and Fading LEDs

    Heya, I'm a beginner at elecronics and wills soon start my first scratch build

    What I want to do here is to have a single button to switch between the LEDs fading in and out or the LEDs on or LEDs off (woah that was even confusing for me).

    My question here is "Will this work?"

    Then maybe some site where they could answer?

    btw the LEDS are more than just two and there are resisitors, just didn't think of that when i painted it >.<
